Pavaclad Steel Frame

NBT Steel Frame Pavaclad System uses Pavatex Pavatherm Plus+ boards, and is for light steel buildings externally finished with any type of cladding including facing bricks, rendered blockwork, timber boards or shingles, tile, terracotta claddings, metal sheet etc.

Pavaclad systems use NBT Pavatex Pavatherm Plus+ woodfibre boards over the outside of the frame in a continuous layer to give an unbridged thermal shell, with excellent breathability and acoustic insulation.

The air tightness layer is on the inside of the frame and it is optional whether to install a service void on the inside of this layer for easy service alterations.

Pavatex Pavatherm Plus Steel Frame Wall Buildup

NBT Pavatherm Plus+ system on steel frame is a cost effective, high performance and sustainable option. Ideal for schools, offices, warehousing and public buildings, it offers speed and simplicity.

The inclusion of a racking board on the inside can have many benefits - in this system it is used as an air tightness layer as well as mounting for the services.

With certain cladding materials, multi occupancy applications require fire stops between units in the external cavity. Contact NBT for further details.

  • Insulation boards: Interlocking, waterproof Isolair boards (22, 35, 60mm), Pavatherm Plus+ boards (60, 80, 100mm).
  • Pavatape for exposed edges, and a selection of air tightness details for internal junctions
  • Fixings: A range of helical and screw fixings for different boards and roofing materials
  • Infill insulation: NBT provide natural insulation materials such as hemp, sheepswool and through sub-contractors cellulose
  • Plaster boards and paints: NBT can provide clay boards, plasters and trade environmental paints for ceilings
