Our Pavaclad and Pavaroof systems require taping ONLY on butt joints, corners or drip details. The tongue and groove board edges require no taping. For reference, please use our Technical Manuals.

• Only use PAVATAPE on dry, clean and dust-free Pavatex board
• Use after fitting boards and always BEFORE installing battens
• Two priming solutions are available dependent on weather conditions: For temperatures between 5 - 10 degC use PAVZTP05 (solvent based) use PAVZTP5 (water-based).
•  PAVATAPE should not be applied if the temperature is below 5 degC.
• Apply Pavatex PRIMER with a brush or roller onto the board and abutments and allow to dry: Water-based 30 and 60 minutes drying time; solvent based prime, 20min.
• Store Pavatex PAVATAPE rolls on a flat surface in a dry dust-free environment.

• Shelf life when stored at around 20 degC is unlimited for PAVATAPE. PRIMER needs to be used within 12 month after manufacture.
• Coverage - Primers - Water based - 5litre tins, enough for 6 rolls of Pavatape. Solvent based - 500ml tins, enough for 1 roll of Pavatape
• Pavatape comes in 150mm wide, 15m rolls.

We recommend Ejot and Fisher fixings for our Pavatex insulation boards - they are available direct from us, and our representatives can advise on correct quantities, tools etc.
