NBT at Ecobuild - The simple way to Passivhaus

Natural Building Technologies (NBT) will be using Ecobuild 2011 to demonstrate how the company’s natural woodfibre insulation systems and ThermoPlan insulating structural building block systems can deliver high performance Passivhaus structures based on simple designs and detailing.
NBT will reinforce the high quality performance of its systems by unveiling the latest products to achieve BBA accreditation. These products will join NBT’s Pavaclad and NBT Diffutherm wall insulation systems and Pavaroof roof insulation systems, offering BBA accredited solutions for the entire building envelope.
There will also be updates on the delivery of the largest Passivhaus development in the UK, which features NBT’s Pavaclad, Pavaflex and Diffutherm woodfibre insulation systems and Siga airtightness tapes. Based in the county of Dorset, the ultra energy efficient flats and houses will provide a mixture of private and social housing at an impressive built cost of just £1,000/m2.
NBT’s breathable systems were selected on the basis of their capacity to deliver a comfortable and healthy living environment, as well as the high levels of thermal performance and airtightness required to meet Passivhaus standards.
