NBT Appoints Tony Pensom as MD

Natural Building Technologies has appointed Tony Pensom to the position of Managing Director, with former MD, Neil May, becoming Chief Executive Officer. Tony, who was formerly NBT’s Sales and Marketing Director, will now be responsible for implementation of all day-to-day activities of the company, with a remit to build on NBT’s impressive growth record of the past two years. This has seen the company increase sales by an impressive 72% over the period.

Neil May will focus on the strategic direction of the business and oversee NBT’s product development programme. In addition, Neil will increase his involvement on external committees and sustainability bodies, including the Good Homes Alliance (of which he is the current Chair), the Technical Advisory Group for the Code for Sustainable Homes, and the Zero Carbon Hub, which is the public/private partnership established to take day-to-day operational responsibility for co-ordinating delivery of low and zero carbon new homes in the UK.
