Healthy House SymposiumA symposium with experts from across Europe, looking at the issues of indoor air quality and 'healthy' buildings. As insulation levels rise and infiltration levels drop in the UK, it is important to consider issues of off-gassing, moisture management and humidity. The symposium will focus on practical examples and research into the subject - including recent developments and technologies. The conference is bi-lingual, hosted at Bau 2009, Munich and sponsored by The Sentinel-Haus Institute - The European Competence Centre for Healthy Accommodation.

Natural Building Technologies has launched an innovative new woodfibre insulation board targeted specifically at the repair and refurbishment markets. The Pavadentro board has been created to effectively insulate external walls on the inside, while greatly reducing the risk of condensation build up within the fabric of the building.
