Earth and Reed win green award

Earth and Reed, a Natural Building Technologies key distributor, has received an award marking the company's dedication to supplying ecological building products and its sustainable approach to business.

Directors Christopher North and Margery Ward collected the "Greenest Small Business in Suffolk" award. The award was given for their overall approach to running their business which supplies sustainable building products as well as providing a consultancy service to support the new build or refurbishment process.

Earth and Reed supplies a range of sustainable products including insulation, paints and washes. The company also applies this environmentally friendly ethos to its business principles, for example, sourcing energy from renewable sources, incorporating waste created by other companies and using recycled packaging.

Christopher North explained: "We were pleased to collect this award as our belief in sustainability is reflected not only through the products we sell and services we offer, but also when running our business. We incorporate environmentally friendly principles into every area of our company and I am delighted to see that an increasing number of people are turning to more sustainable alternatives."
