Repairability in the long term: A building has to fulfil a certain, usually predefined lifespan. To achieve this it has to be maintained¹⁶ properly during its service. Traditional building products such as timber, blocks, renders etc. and components traditionally made from these materials have been time proven to meet these requirements.
